COME ON LET’S TWIST AGAIN
Serie of six wood box and post-card collages, 60.5 cm x 26.5 cm.
This work uses old post-cards representing images of Istanbul before thirties, captioned in French. Post-cards are cut into pieces, so that words constituting captions becomes independent from each other. Then, by recombining the various parts of sentences in a poetic logic, new captions are created. Within this process images are completely fragmented and mixed together, so that they finally lose their correspondence with the words.
