THE CAMERAMAN

Video, 0'30 loop. 2012.

Capture from the silent film “The cameraman”, directed by Edward Sedgwick in 1928, staging a cameraman who never gets to shoot anything. The whole video is made of a single sentence, taken from the inter-titles of the film, which demonstrates this imposibility. It finally becomes a statement of the lack of images of the video itself, while it redefines the concept of visibility.
